I am not ashamed to say that this is how I lived a part of my childhood. Fortunately, I have a manly man who works hard and loves his wife and chidren. I wish there were more men like him because my sister keeps going out with asshole whiney losers that don't keep their hands to themselves. And my brother can't drink in a public setting without feeling threatened and either getting in a fight or nearly so. Thanks, dad. However, with me as a big sister he knows better than to lay his hand on a woman. Interesting topic but unfortunately a sensitive one for me. I don't mean to sound like a whiner. Just putting foward another perspective of the topic.
